 Many people have problems to make their Ravenshield run good in multiplayer. Even though some changes can be done from within the game, the key to a nice running game lies within the games .ini files. Here is how to edit them:

Game crashes in multiplayerscreen

Use the filter function and only load the gametypes you want to play. Or you can rightclick your Rvs icon, select properties and under target add -norunaway , like this: G:\Ravenshield\system\ravenshield.exe -norunaway 		Cant push readybutton

Sometimes in a multiplayer game you cannot push the ready button. What you have to do then is nothing, if you aint in a hurry ,the game will start anyway. But if you cant stand the 10sec or whatever it is waitingtime, just reselect your team and you will be able to push ready. 		Remove intromovie

Get away the annoying intromovie by opening the files Logos.bik and RS_Intro.bik from the Ravenshield/videos/ directory with notepad. Delete all text in the files and save them. Save them as they are originally called, not as .txt files.

Mp keys

Of corse you need to send ugly messeges to your teammates and opponents while playin. To make this you can either use the mp-key editor from the files section, or do it by hand. To do it by hand:
1. Open the file user.ini from the Ravenshield/Save/Profiles/ in notepad.
2. Scroll down to the [Engine.Input] part of the file. Then use the commands say or teamsay to add the desired messege to a key.

You can also add messeges to other buttons,  for example your reloading button. Then use the "|" sign and add the second command line.

Example: NumPad7=GadgetOne |Teamsay Frag!

Finally you can get voice messeges by pressing your voicemessege key (v) followed by a number, and after that a new number. Very clumsy way, but nice when done properly. 		Console

While playing you can change settings for your game, get information about other players and se which map the host will host after the current one. All those things are done through console, which you reach by pushing your console button (C).

Useful commands in the console are: playerlist, maplist, suicide and teamsay. For a complete list of console commands go here: Consolecommands

Make armpatch

Making an armpatch in Ravenshield is alot easier than in Rogue spear. The only thing you need to do is make a 64x64 pixel picture. Then you need to save it as a .tga picture and place it in the ravenshield/armpatch folder. Paintbrush cant save .tga pictures though, so if you use paintbrush open the picture in a program that can handle .tga, for example Acdsee and save the picture as a .tga picture.
